Joel Kampfe

Joel Kampfe is a certified Sommelier with 12 years of experience and a Master of Wine candidate. He co-owns Unrooted, a natural wine club based in San Francisco, and Noble Riot, Denver's first natural wine bar. Kampfe has worked as a winemaker in New Zealand and Napa Valley before transitioning to the hospitality industry as Wine Director at Savvy Cellar and ENO Wine Bar in multiple locations and previously serving as the Retail Director for Acker, America's oldest wine merchant and the world's largest wine auction house. When not traveling for work or making his own wine, Joel enjoys playing ping-pong and training his cat, Macabeo.
